The more you hear of what you really are, the farther you go from the things you ignorantly do. A certain man had a terminal disease, and was told he was going to die in a few months. The more he heard the doctor's voice in his head, the weaker he became. After some weeks, he met with a christian who led him to Christ and invited him to church. He enjoyed the message that was preached, and consistently attended all their services.

He discovered that the words from the church strengthened him, while the words from the doctor made him weaker. He decided to stop listening to the doctor, and concentrated on the messages from the church. Mysteriously, he had attended the church services for over a year before he remembered that he was supposed to die some months back. And that how the things he was hearing influenced his health.
