TIMELY NOTES! In Ecclesiastes 7:12, the bible compares knowledge with money. The first part of that scripture showed an equality between these two; it says, money is a defence, and knowledge is a defence. The second part described the excellency of knowledge over money; it says knowledge has capacity to give life to him that has it. Knowledge unveils your potentials and gives you reasons to live. Money gives you something to live with, knowledge gives you a life to live with. Money changes things, knowledge changes everything. Money won't make you wealthy, it is knowledge that will. The bible tells us that "God gives power to get wealth", and knowledge is power. That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Notes. TIMELY NOTES! When need arises, Jesus puts a coin in the mouth of a fish to save you. Remember that Jesus engaged this process to save one of His disciples. The fish could be anything; it could be a person, or an idea. All you have to do is "deep your hand in the water, and locate a fish". We'd see from scriptures that water is an element used to describe the word of God. The bible tells us that "... When we have found it, there shall be a reward". That is more like saying, when you find the fish, there'd be a coin in its mouth. That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Notes. THE SCARCITY OF BELIEVERS! No matter what is falling in our nations, Believers are not permitted to fall with them. In Ps 91:7, the bible says "a thousand may fall by your side, and ten thousand by your right side, but it shall not come near you". You'd notice in that scripture that God used the word "it" to describe the multitudes of problems in the world. That also means that no form of challenge, no matter how evident it may be - is permitted to affect you. According to scriptures, one believer is capable of chasing a thousand problems out of a nation. When the world is experiencing a casting down, Believers should trust God for avenues that creates a lifting up. Enable courage within you, because the reason why things are scarce is because believers are scarce. TIMELY NOTES! We understand from scriptures that the secret things belongs to God, and He gives them to whomsoever He will. Also, it is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honour of kings to unveil them. This could also mean that, in the midst of crisis there is still honour for believers. People may be suffering in your nation because resources are gradually depreciating. But it was in the midst of famine that Joseph was given the honour of a ruler; it was in the midst of famine that he preserved nations for many years. And he made all that possible by accessing the secret that only God knew. When you know something that only God knows, you'd naturally gain honour on the earth. TIMELY NOTES! It is natural for Satan to make things difficult around you, but you also have the right to convert difficult situations into pleasure. For instance, a company that was doing well suddenly gets broke because a believer has been employed. And it's not because the believers has bad luck, no! It's because Satan doesn't want that believer to get paid. I'm tired of listening to believers who complain that they've not received salary for months. Haven't you heard the testimony of the man who led his organization into a 3-day fast just to break the yoke of wickedness. Satan is naturally wicked, and no matter how much you complain, he won't change. The time has come for you to take spiritual responsibility for the unbearable happenings around your life. TIMELY NOTES! Observation has become the most powerful way to learn. The world is surrounded by busy people, and people who are not willing to teach anyone their success secrets. They think it's a norm in life to lock-up your success secrets in a safe so that no one will climb to your level. The truth of the matter is, the things you've locked up in a safe is the reason why our nation is not safe. Observation may be slower when it comes to acquisition of knowledge, but the mode of acquisition does not determine the level of manifestation. Someone approached me after delivering a talk some years back, and he asked if I knew Bishop David Oyedepo. He was amazed when I told him that he's my father in the faith. SWITCH TO THE SPIRIT! Sometime ago, I was talking to a pastor when a phone call that changed my orientation of the triune nature of man came into his phone. It was one of his members that called. And after some minutes, he told the lady that he had a pastor friend with him who has a word for her. I quickly looked around to see if there was someone else beside him, but it was just me.  Surprisingly, he handed the phone over to me, and for the first minute I was just exchanging pleasantries because I didn't know her and I didn't know what to say. After a while, I said a word of prayer for her and handed the phone back to the pastor. In my confused state, the pastor said "Emeka, you are a spirit that has a soul that lives in a body. As a believer, your spirit would always know what to say because it is connected to the all-knowing Spirit of God." WHAT'S YOUR IMPRESSION? You really don't have a second chance to make the first impression. There are many people who do not read any message from me, not because these messages are not impactful, but because they don't believe anything good can come out of me . When Phillip went to inform Nathaniel that the Messiah has come, the first question that Nathaniel asked was "can anything good come out of Nazareth?". But thank God for the law of life, there'd always be a time when those that hate you will give you an opportunity to prove yourself. But when that time comes, what would you be doing? As soon as Jesus saw Nathaniel, He told him something that made him believe that something good can actually come out of Nazareth. TIMELY NOTES! You don't need marketers to be uncovered or famous; what you need is power. In Luke 4:14, the bible says Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit, and His fame went abroad. Even though He had disciples who knew the terrains well, He didn't depend on their knowledge of the area or of the people. Many business owners and employees need to understand this; fame naturally responds to the one with power. If you want people to see you from far, then you need to travel far in the realm of power. TIMELY NOTES! Don't just aspire to do something, aspire to do something with a difference. I perceive that people like Timely Notes - not just because it's inspiring, but because it's different. A very close friend confirmed this yesterday; she said "the reason why she does not make comments on Timely Notes is because it's an inspiration from God". People would find it difficult to define what you do if you've not clearly defined it. I didn't tell her what to say, I only asked her why she has never made any comment on the messages - knowing that she's my close friend. But she responded with the definition of Timely Notes. TIMELY NOTES! Your mind is more important to God than your eyes is. As a matter of thoughts, the devil prefers to blind the mind than the eyes. I believe this is why you'd always see many able men who have clear sights on the road sides acting as beggars. It takes a working mind to make a complete man. Some people don't know how to choose a spouse, they think a person is complete when he or she is complete on the outside. No matter what you have or how you look, if you can't make positive use of your mind then you're incomplete. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT? The world is mysteriously filled with limited thinkers. People don't think big anymore because of what others think about them. If I based my thoughts on what people were thinking about my write-ups, I would have stopped writing since 2010. People are free to think anything they like about me, but it would be foolishness for me to live according to their thoughts. Thoughts are volatile. It changes when it sees a contrary result. For instance, the people who said I was disturbing their phone with my messages have suddenly made the same messages their daily devotional. The people who said they didn't have time to read my messages now take me as a mentor. Don't get me wrong; I'm not saying these things to entice or judge anyone. I'm just trying to encourage you, that whatever people have thought about you shouldn't limit your potentials. Be fruitful, multiply your talents and dominate the circumstances around your life.

TIMELY NOTES! Every believer is ordained to live a supernatural life. But it's hurting how many believers allow themselves to be affected by natural circumstances. Jesus said His life is a description of how we should live. And when a storm arose - which was a natural thing especially when it's the season for storms, Jesus rebuked the storm. Naturally, a fig tree is not supposed to produce fruits before it's time, but Jesus cursed the tree because He expected the tree to have fruits - the season notwithstanding. Many believers are too careful about the natural that they underutilize their redemptive rights. It is natural to take loans to start a big project, but as believers, we look up for supernatural supplies. TIMELY NOTES! Jesus is not dead! Though He died, but He resurrected on the third day. To prove that He was no longer dead, He appeared to His disciples for 40 days - with many convincing proofs. Thomas who had doubts became convinced when he saw the wounds on Jesus. In Rev 1:18, John wrote what Jesus said when He appeared to him, He said "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forever; Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death". Jesus is the way God speaks to us, the truth God reveals to us, and the life God gives to us. Jesus Himself said that no man can come to the Father except by Him. That could also mean that God will not show Himself to anyone except by Jesus His Son. When one of the disciples asked if they could see the Father, Jesus told them that if they can see Him then they've seen the Father. That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Notes. TIMELY NOTES! Though faith is applied in the natural, but it is purely a supernatural force. Many people are not growing in faith because they think faith has natural growth phenomenon. The bible didn't say that faith comes by our life experiences, no, it says faith comes by consistency in hearing the word of God. Even if your experience would elevate your faith, it has to be an experience of faith. Asides the fact that David knew God's word, his experience with wild animals boosted his confidence to confront Goliath. You can't truly develop your faith and not develop in life. Because every step you take to advance your faith also advances your life. Don't blame God for not intervening in your challenges, blame your faith. When your faith is blameless the enemy becomes lame over the affairs of your life. That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Notes. TIMELY NOTES! In this world, one evil act often cancels the multitude of good things that a man has done. Mysteriously, one good deed also cancels the multitude of evil that a man has done. People can forget your acts of selflessness in a moment - just because of one selfish act. They can also forget all your wicked acts just because of one good turn. You need faith to please God, but there's nothing you can do to please man. If you don't have a godly reason why you do what you do, then be ready for disappointments. People say "every disappointment is a blessing", but I think every disappointment is the result of your dependence on man. TIMELY NOTES! It's been said that "we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give". In other words, converting what we get into what to give is how we make a life. A friend recently asked me "who is a great man?". I responded with what Jesus said that "every one who desires to be great must be a servant". He didn't seem to be convinced at the response because he later asked me if that was the only way to be great. Whatever Jesus says is genuine. The bible says "let God be true and all men liars". If God has said something about anything, then any other theory about that thing is inferior. It is not your income that makes great, it's the dimension of your outcomes that does. Greatness is not in the eyes of the beholder, but in the eyes of the beneficiaries. Jesus is a great King, but His greatness needed to be proven by the people. He had to go about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. T

TIMELY NOTES! Believers who desire to be successful never look at what they have lost; instead, they look at what they have left. When some bandits attacked the house of David, they stole many things, including the belongings of David's people. His people reacted to the robbery to a point that they began to blame David for what had happened. My father in the faith has often said that "if you've lost anything, God is the reason why you didn't loose everything". In the midst of the murmuring, David understood that the only person he had left is God. And when he called upon God, everything he lost was recovered. TIMELY NOTES! Great things are not always found where we expect them to be. When things don't fall out the way we expect them to be, let's always try another approach. Persistence is doing the same thing in different ways until you get a positive result. No matter how many times you cure fever, it would do all it can to get back to the body. Many of the drugs that were used to fight fever have now become obsolete, because fever has developed immunity against them. It's only a matter of time before the drugs that currently destroy fever looses their effect on it - because fever naturally persists. Every man should learn persistence from fever. TIMELY NOTES! You can't be in God's presence and not know. I was worshipping The Father one day, and suddenly He said to me "My son, you can't be in my presence and not know". I asked why, and He responded saying "Because in my presence there is fullness of joy. And songs are natural traits of joy". After He said those words, it occurred to me that I was not only singing songs I was familiar with, I also sang in tunes I've never heard or sang before. TIMELY NOTES! Prayer can do whatsoever. In John 14:13, Jesus told His disciples that whatsoever they ask the Father in His name, He will do it, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. In verse 14, He further elucidated that "anything they ask the Father in His name, He will do it". That also means that prayer can do anything. In Phil 1:19, Paul said "I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayers". Prayer is the weapon we need to do greater works than Jesus did. If you can pray well, then there's no height you cannot scale. That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Notes, but take these last words; PRAYER IS THE MOST DREADFUL WEAPON IN THE WAR FRONT.
