In this world, one evil act often cancels the multitude of good things that a man has done. Mysteriously, one good deed also cancels the multitude of evil that a man has done. People can forget your acts of selflessness in a moment - just because of one selfish act. They can also forget all your wicked acts just because of one good turn.

You need faith to please God, but there's nothing you can do to please man. If you don't have a godly reason why you do what you do, then be ready for disappointments. People say "every disappointment is a blessing", but I think every disappointment is the result of your dependence on man. God does not disapoint; the bible says He will never leave nor forsake you, He will be with you, so that you can boldly say He is your Helper.

That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Notes. But take these last words; LIVE A GOD-CENTERED LIFE. IT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN LIVE A LIFE THAT IS FREE FROM DISAPPOINTMENT AND CORRUPTION. Have a most fruitful week! In Jesus precious name!

TIMELY NOTES! Having faith without a connectivity to the Author of faith is a waste of time. Faith may please God, but love creates a link between the one who has faith in God and God Himself. The bibles says "faith is the substance of things hoped for"; that could also mean that faith dwells on material things. But God is love; having true love in your heart is simply having God in your heart. This makes it impossible for your faith to please God without love for Him in your heart. Being filled with the word of faith doesn't mean you're filled with love for God. Love for God is something you must consciously decide to build.
