TIMELY NOTES!

Prosperity is not in the country or place you travel to, it is in the God that is with you. If God is not with you, even if you move to the most prosperous nations, your prosperity is not guaranteed. There was famine in Canaan during the time of Isaac, and he planned to move to Egypt. But God warned him not to go down to Egypt, and that He should remain in Canaan, because He is going to bless him there. The Bible tells us that Isaac sowed or worked in Canaan, which had famine, and reaped an hundred fold the same year. There was famine in the land or something we refer to as "recession" in this modern day, but Isaac still prospered.

On the second thought, God may actually approve your movement. There was another famine during the time of Jacob, and he also planned to move to Egypt. After he had prayed to God, God told him not to be afraid to move to Egypt, because He was going to bless him there. And truly, God blessed him, and his entire household. Deut 29:9 tells us to keep God's commandment and do them, so that we may prosper in all that we do. So things may be down in the economy, your school, your family, your job, your business, your relationships, or anything else, but if you will obey the commandments of God, you are sure to prosper in all these things.
