TIMELY NOTES!

We've been taught that God's word is classified into Logos and Rhema. Logos is the sum total of all the sayings and expressions of God, while Rhema is the spoken word of God. Simply put, Logos is the bible in our possession or the words that God speaks directly to us, while Rhema is the word we speak from the bible or from God. Satan knew that Jesus was hungry - knowing that He had fasted for a long time. He tried deceiving Him to turn stone into bread, but Jesus responded with Rhema. He said "it is written... ", and Satan left that matter. Ezekiel did something similar at the valley of dry bones; he spoke God's direct words to the bones, and the bones became an army.

Philemon 1:6 explains that "the communication of our faith would become effectual by speaking of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus". In other words, our faith becomes effective when we speak the word of God, either to our present or to our future. Eph 6:17 tells us to take the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. That also means that Rhema is the sword that we use to fight demonic forces. Jesus, Moses, Ezekiel, Peter, Paul, and many others prevailed by speaking the word of God - direct or written.

That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Note. But take these last words; THE WORD WAS THERE IN THE BEGINNING, AND IT WAS EVEN WITH GOD. BUT GOD HAD TO SPEAK BEFORE ANYTHING COULD BE CREATED. Have a most fruitful day! In Jesus precious name!

TIMELY NOTES! The life and acts of Jesus on earth was a fulfilment of prophecy. Prophecies are the direct words of God spoken through the mouth of His prophets. For instance, God told Ezekiel to speak to the bones, and when he did, the bones heard. God told Abraham that Israel will suffer for 400 years in Egypt, and it was so. In Matthew chapter 21, Jesus sent two of His disciples to a village to bring a donkey - which He'd use for a majestic entrance into Jerusalem. And verse 4 said "All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet... " Great prophecies had gone ahead of Jesus, but He didn't wait for them to come to pass, rather, He made them come to pass. The prophecy stated that "Jesus would come, sitting upon a donkey", but it didn't tell Jesus how and where to get the donkey. A prophecy will remain dormant until you've played your part. TIMELY NOTES! Fasting increases the depth of our thirst. People who live by chance may never see reasons to fast. Even though the happenings around them affects them, they just feel too lazy to take responsibility. I have vowed that in this year 2017, I will not let my life end with a story that will not give God glory, I will take responsibility and recreate the happenings around my life by the word of God. I have discovered that many people do not face the challenges ahead until their challenges reaches their neck. Heart attack is not actually what the medical practitioners call it, it is what happens when your challenges begins to cease your breath.
