What do you have? If all you have are things you can physically see, then you really do not have anything. According to scriptures, physical things are subject to change; and they can change at any moment. Job was the wealthiest and most protected man in his time; but in a moment, he became the poorest and most feeble person in his time. Strange, right?

Spiritual things lasts forever. The bible tells us that "whatever the Lord does shall be forever". Spiritual things have capacity to transcend different times and seasons. If Job had refused to pray for his friends, he would have died in that affliction. But his spiritual action towards his friends changed his physical condition. If God is all you have, then He is all you need to have all your needs met. God is not a material, He is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in truth and in spirit. Pray more, fast more, give more; that is how you keep your spirit in check.

That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Note. But take these last words; SPIRITUAL INVESTMENTS ARE THE PRESERVATIVES OF PHYSICAL THINGS. IF YOU WANT YOUR PHYSICAL RESOURCES TO LAST LONG, THEN LONG FOR SPIRITUAL MATTERS. Have a most fruitful day, in Jesus precious name!

TIMELY NOTES! Having faith without a connectivity to the Author of faith is a waste of time. Faith may please God, but love creates a link between the one who has faith in God and God Himself. The bibles says "faith is the substance of things hoped for"; that could also mean that faith dwells on material things. But God is love; having true love in your heart is simply having God in your heart. This makes it impossible for your faith to please God without love for Him in your heart. Being filled with the word of faith doesn't mean you're filled with love for God. Love for God is something you must consciously decide to build.
