MY SALARY HAS NOT COME...

MY SALARY HAS NOT COME...

A true Christian can't survive on monthly salaries.

Scripturally speaking, God does not only give us monthly benefits, He specifically loads us with daily blessings. Ps 68:19 says "blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation". In other words, salvation launches believers into a realm of daily blessings, not just monthly salaries.

Remember how God saved Israel from the land of Egypt; the bible records that God was supplying them with manna daily, for many years. As a matter of scriptures, they were particularly instructed to gather only what was sufficient for each day. In other words, God loads us with blessings that is sufficient for each day. Any need that arises in any day has a sufficient supply from God on that day, no matter how great the need may appear.

I get upset when I hear believers say things like "I'm waiting for my salary". Phil 4:19 says that "God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus". If you're in need, and your salary has not come, then God has other means to meet that need. Stop waiting for your salary, look up to God for supplies. If your salary can't meet that need, then God has something else that can meet it.

When your colleagues are taking "salary advance", don't join them! Believers are wired to lend to nations; and that means when people are looking for who to borrow from, you should be available to lend to them. But with a "salary has not come" mindset, you'd never be able to operate in that dimension.

Believers are prosperous set of people. However, I've discovered that the reason why believers live in poverty is because they've not committed themselves to the demands of a prosperous life. Prosperity is for givers; if you're not a giver you're not permitted to prosper.

I don't think about my salary, because even when it comes I think of who to give something to. If God daily loads us with blessings, then it simply means He wants us to load people with daily blessings too. God will never give you what you will keep for yourself alone; rather, He'd give you what you will also extend to others.

If you want to get blessings everyday, then be committed to blessing people everyday. I have vowed to be a blessing to someone everyday, no matter how small. Many people's blessings are locked down in the heavens because they won't give. Giving is the key that unlocks our blessings.

Let me conclude with this; if you've prayed and fasted, and you still can't see the blessing you desire, engage the covenant of giving. A three-fold cord cannot be easily broken. May God give us understanding!

God bless you, I love you, and don't forget to share!
