PLANTS ALSO LIVE BY FAITH!

Believers are not different from plants. The bible says the just shall live by faith, but guess what? Plants also live by faith.

Jesus acknowledged the faith of a plant in Luke 12:28 when He said "if God clothes the grass, which may be in the field today and burnt tomorrow, won't He be more sure to clothe you? What little faith you have!". In other words, plants have better faith than we do.

He continued by saying "so don't be upset, always concerned about what you will eat and drink, because your Father knows that you need these things. Instead, be concerned with His kingdom, and He will provide you with these things". That is probably how plants operate, they are just concerned with the kingdom, beautifying the whole earth, and God takes care of them for that.

Many people are deviating from the main course. It's not about us, but about the kingdom. It should not be "us" first, but "the kingdom" first.

Alright, how do I live by faith?

Faith primarily comes by hearing and understanding the word of God. In Job 14:7-9, the Bible tells us how the plant finds faith to live on; it says "there is hope for a tree that has been cut down; it can come back to life and sprout. Even though its root grow old, and its stump dies in the ground, with water it will sprout like a young plant". That's it!

What water is to a plant is what the word of God is to a believer. As a matter of scriptures, Ephesians 5:26 literally compared water to the word of God. You have successfully developed the faith of a plant when every thing about your life is rooted in God's word.

What more? In Isaiah 61:3, Jesus referred to us as "trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord". He further said that "we would make new the old waste places". That's how plants operate, they have a way of beautifying desolate places.

Let me conclude with this; let's live like plants, because we are really not different from them. May God give us understanding!

God bless you, I love you, and don't forget to share!
