TIMELY NOTES!

No matter how many beautiful electronic equipments you have in your home, none of them will work until they are powered. The year may appear very promising for you, but these promises can only be fulfilled with power. Have you not heard of people who fall sick on the same day their organization planned to promote them? Have you not heard of people who lose their lives just before a major celebration? I remember the tragedy of a man who lost his life a night before he would have been declared the governor of a state.

Nothing worthwhile works fine without power. You would be making a great mistake if you continue with this year without an empowerment retreat. Personally, I would be starting a 21-day prayer and fasting program in a few days from now, and the purpose is to break every barrier that may try to hinder God's plan for me this year. Everybody needs power, including little children. Parents should teach their children how to get empowered so that they would not bring low grades home. Truly, knowledge is power; but if you invest in intellectual knowledge, all you would get is intellectual power. But if you invest in spiritual knowledge, then you would become spiritually empowered. Spiritual empowerment is what we need first to succeed in anything life offers.

That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Note. But take these last words; DON'T ALLOW THIS YEAR TO END WITH A STORY THAT WON'T GIVE GOD GLORY. GET EMPOWERED, SO YOU CAN ENJOY GOD'S PLAN TO ITS FULLEST. Have a most fruitful weekend, in Jesus precious name!
