Things are getting better. Though prayer may not totally change a situation, but it would definitely add beauty and color to it. Prayer may not prevent a woman from feeling the pain of labour, but it would give her the joy of being a mother. Prayer may not prevent us from writing our exams, but it would give us hope for success. Prayer may not prevent us from going for an interview, but it would guarantee us a job. God makes all things beautiful when we pray to Him, including difficult situations.

Face your challenges with confidence in God. "Faith" is risking everything on God, and God will never fail those that trust in Him. Do what you have to do, especially when God has approved it. The process may be painful and difficult, but with God, you are sure to emerge victorious. Prayer could not prevent Jesus from dying for our sins, but it guaranteed Him victory at the end. Prayer could not change the fact that Abraham needed to prove his loyalty to God by sacrificing Isaac. There are probably many things we are praying for that may only require a step of obedience.

That's how far we'd go on today's Timely Note. But take these last words; WATCH AND PRAY, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, BUT TAKE STEPS WHERE YOU HAVE TO. Have a most fruitful weekend, in Jesus precious name!

TIMELY NOTES! Having faith without a connectivity to the Author of faith is a waste of time. Faith may please God, but love creates a link between the one who has faith in God and God Himself. The bibles says "faith is the substance of things hoped for"; that could also mean that faith dwells on material things. But God is love; having true love in your heart is simply having God in your heart. This makes it impossible for your faith to please God without love for Him in your heart. Being filled with the word of faith doesn't mean you're filled with love for God. Love for God is something you must consciously decide to build. Trying to build a relationship with God is closely related to how a man tries to get a woman to like him.
